Hamburger with caramelized onion and Kaltbach Creamy

25 g | butter |
2 tsp. | vinegar |
2 tsp. | sugar |
poss. 2 tbsp | water |
Truffle mayonnaise: | |

1.5 | mayonnaise |
truffle oil to taste | |

Preparation

In a large pan over medium heat add butter and onions. Sauté the onions, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes. Add sugar and vinegar. Stir and cook until it caramelizes. If it gets dry add 2 tablespoons water.

Mix mayonnaise with truffle oil to taste. Season with salt and pepper.

Divide ground beef into 4 portions. Shape each into patties. Season each patty on both sides with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet and add butter. Cook one side and flip it over. Top with slices of Kaltbach Creamy and put a lid on for the cheese to melt.

Toast the buns quickly. Build the burger by spreading truffle mayonnaise onto the bottom buns. Add more Kaltbach Creamy and a burger. Top with caramelized onions. Add the top bun and serve!
